Born in 1582. The eldest son of Inagaki Nagashige. In 1604, he became the second generation lord of the Inagaki clan in Isezaki, Kozuke (Gunma Prefecture). He played an active role in the Siege of Osaka, and in 1615, he became the first lord of the Inagaki clan in Kariya, Mikawa (Aichi Prefecture) with a stipend of 23,000 koku.
