It is called Iyo no Yu or Nigitatsu no Iwayu, and in the Iyo no Kuni Fudoki (a fragment of the topography of Iyo Province) there is a story that Sukunabikona (Sukunabikona) was cured of his illness in this hot spring, and that Prince Shotoku, who visited the hot spring, erected a monument (Iyo Dogo Onsen Monument) on Yuoka, or Isaniwa no Oka.
