Born in the second year of the Taiei era. Son of Ichijo Fusafuyu. His mother was Tamahimenomiya. He was a noble lord of Tosa (Kochi Prefecture). In the fifth year of the Kyoroku era, he became the Middle Captain of the Ukon-e, and in the sixth year of the Tenbun era, he was promoted to the rank of Junior Third Rank and also served as the Governor of Awa. He defeated Tsuno Mototaka and took control of Takaoka County. He married his father-in-law, Otomo Yoshiaki, and invaded southern Iyo, but committed suicide on April 12, 1545. He was 28 years old.
