Ishigure Pass

...There are many mountain passes across the area, and in the early modern period, Suzuka Pass was a key point on the Tokaido road, known as the second most difficult pass after Hakone. Other passes include Kurakake Pass (791m), Ishigure Pass (689m), and Mizusawa Pass (866m), which were used as detours. Strange rock formations can be seen on the steep eastern slope of the mountain range, and there are many valleys, such as Uga Valley, Asake Valley, and Miyazuma Valley. The area has been designated as part of the Suzuka Quasi-National Park.
