Amoytora - Amoytora

...It is similar to the Sumatran tiger (P. t . sumatrae) and Javan tiger (P. t . sondaica) in that it has short, reddish-brown fur, many thin stripes, and two bundles, but its body color is bright and its underside is pure white. Other species include the Caspian tiger ( P. t . virgata ), which has a dark reddish-brown back with an orange tinge, a white underside, and thin, mostly brown stripes, and the Malayan tiger (P. t . corbetti) and the South China Sea tiger (P. t . amoyensis) , which have slightly longer fur and wider stripes. Tigers are easily distinguished from lions in appearance, but their skulls and body shapes are very similar.
