A port in Hokkaido. Established in April 1978. The port administrator is the Ishikari Bay New Port Management Association. An important port (designated in April 1973). The port area is 2,235 hectares. In 2003, it was designated as a venous logistics hub port (recycle port). Commonly known as the Port of Sapporo.
