Born on February 25, 1902. Studied at the Communist University of Eastern Workers in Moscow. In 1931, he became chairman of the Communist Party's Central Committee and drafted political theses. He was arrested the following year and converted. After the war, he joined the Worker-Peasant Vanguard Party. He became secretary-general of the World Democratic Institute and engaged in anti-communist activities. He passed away on May 24, 1968, at the age of 66. He was born in Niigata Prefecture.
