A god of blacksmithing that appears in the Kojiki. In order to bring out Amaterasu Omikami, who had hidden herself in the cave of Heaven, he made a mirror for use in rituals together with Ishikoridome no Mikoto . He is said to be the same god as Ame-no- Mahitotsu-no-Kami . He is also known as Amatsumaura.
