A god of blacksmithing that appears in the Kojiki. In order to bring out Amaterasu Omikami, who had hidden herself in the cave of Heaven, he made a mirror for use in rituals together with Ishikoridome no Mikoto . He is said to be the same god as Ame-no- Mahitotsu-no-Kami . He is also known as Amatsumaura. 「古事記」に見える鍛冶の神。天の岩屋戸に隠れた天照大神を導き出すため、伊斯許理度売命(いしこりどめのみこと)とともに、祭祀用の鏡を作った。天目一箇神(あめのまひとつのかみ)と同じ神ともいわれる。天津真浦とも。
