Japanese: 後練繻子 - あとねりしゅす
After-painting - After-painting

...The smallest unit is a combination of five warp threads and five weft threads, i.e., five heddles, but more can be made (7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, etc.), but five-ply and eight-ply textures are the most common. Silk threads that are refined and dyed as necessary before being woven into satin are called real satin, while raw silk that is woven and then refined, dyed, and finished is called raw satin or post-dyed satin. Satin weave is considered one of the basic weaves of textiles, along with plain weave and twill weave, but it was the latest to develop, beginning in China after the Song dynasty.
