Sunan al-Tirmidhi (English spelling)

…Although he was blind, he traveled to Khorasan, Hijaz, and other places to collect traditions. His work, which contains about 4,000 pieces of text, is called Sunan al-Tirmidhi (also called Jāmi' al-ṣaḥīḥ), and is counted among the six books of hadith. Although the contents of this book have been criticized for being biased toward the Shiite sect, it also contains many tafsir (interpretations of the Quran) and information about the Prophet and his companions.
