...The performances at Gunthang Monastery on the day of Nirvana on April 15th and at the Potala Palace at the end of the year are famous. There is also a specialized theater group called Aceramo, which performs historical plays and songs and dances based on Buddhist tales of life. The architecture and art are strongly influenced by Nepalese and Chinese influences.
