In Japan, in 1923, Takahashi Shinkichi published "Poetry of Dadaist Shinkichi" and the anarchist poetry magazine "Red and Black" was launched, which was close to Dada. Later, Murayama Tomoyoshi, who had returned from Germany, launched "Mavo" (1924) with the slogan "To the streets, to the squares, to despair, to nothingness, to the transformation of the atom!" The Futurist, Action, and Mavo groups joined the Sankakai, an open exhibition, and Murayama Tomoyoshi's "Theatre no Sanka" (Sanka Society) combined poetry, art, drama, and dance. However, the enthusiasm for this movement faded within a few years as anarchism was reorganized into communism.
