Mount Kaikei

Japanese:
Mount Kaikei

A mountain in the central part of Zhejiang Province, China. It stretches from north to south to the south of Shaoxing City. It was originally called Fangshan, Tongshan, or Mao Mountain, but it is said that it was renamed Kuaiji Mountain after King Yu of the Xia Dynasty gathered feudal lords here to praise his achievements. During the Spring and Autumn Period, King Goujian of Yue was attacked by King Fuchai of Wu and retreated to this mountain, and later, he is famous for having erased the shame of Kuaiji by enduring hardships such as sleeping on firewood and tasting gall.
