Japanese: 武儀[町] - むぎ

A former town in Mugi County in the central-southern part of Gifu Prefecture. It borders Seki City to the north, and the Tsubo River, a tributary of the Nagara River, flows roughly north-south through the center of the town. Most of the town is forested and wilderness, with a small amount of lowland along the Tsubo River. In addition to rice cultivation, sericulture and shiitake mushroom cultivation are thriving, and chestnut and tea production is also carried out. In February 2005, it was incorporated into Seki City along with the Mugi County villages of Mugegawa Town, Horado Village, Itadori Village, and Kaminoho Village. 65.27 ^km2 . 4,244 people (2003).

岐阜県中南部，武儀郡の旧町。関市の北に接し，長良川の支流津保(つぼ)川が町域の中央をほぼ南北に流れる。山林原野が大部分で，津保川沿いにわずかな低地が開ける。米作のほか，養蚕，シイタケの栽培が盛んで，クリ，茶の生産なども行われる。2005年２月武儀郡武芸川町，洞戸村，板取村，上之保村と関市へ編入。65.27km²。4244人（2003）。
