Pitoëff, G.

…French actor. Her husband, Georges Pitoëff (1884-1939), was a better director. Georges was born in Tiflis (now Tbilisi), Russia, to a theater manager. After studying under Stanislavsky and Dalcroze, he moved to Paris in 1914.
