Polybasite

...There are approximately 60 known minerals that contain more than a few percent silver. Important silver minerals include native silver (Ag), argentite (Ag ₂ S), cerargyrite (AgCl), naumannite (Ag ₂ Se), dyscrasite (Ag ₃ Sb), jalpaite (Ag ₃ CuS _{2 )} , argyrodite (Ag ₈ GeS _{6 )} , canfieldite (Ag ₈ SnS _{6 )} , stephanite (Ag ₅ SbS _{4 )} , pyrargyrite (Ag ₃ SbS 3 ), proustite (Ag ₃ AsS _{3 ) ,} polybasite (Ag,Cu) ₁₆ Sb ₂ S ₁₁ , and arsenpolybasite (Ag,Cu) ₁₆ As ₂ S ₁₁ , hessite (also known as hessite or silver tellurite) Ag ₂ Te, etc. In addition, tetrahedrite and galena contain silver, and when they occur abundantly in an ore deposit, they are considered important as silver carriers.
