Porro's operation (English)

...These include narrow pelvis, fetal head-pelvic disproportion, placenta previa, threatened uterine rupture, abruptio placentae, and persistent transverse lie. A special method is the Porro's operation (original method), which removes the pregnant uterus before the fetus is delivered. Although cesarean section has become a relatively safe operation today, there are cases where uterine rupture occurs during the next delivery, pregnancy decreases, or menstrual fistula occurs.
