[Mutual influence between wooden and stone architecture]
In the 16th century, a completely new style of church with a roof emerged. It was adopted from wooden architecture as a form symbolizing the power of the king, and an octagonal pyramidal tower roof called a tent type (shatyor) appeared instead of a dome. Also, during this period, the complete liberation from the "Tatar yoke" and the joy of national unification led to the creation of a dreamlike architecture that was not bound by rules.
