...After Sentimentalism (for example, Baggesen's travelogue Labyrinth 1792-93), the period of Romanticism, considered the Golden Age of Danish literature, arrived. In December 1802, the young poet Ehrensleyer, inspired by Henrik Steffens (1773-1845), who brought Jena Romanticism to Copenhagen, published Poems 1803, which included the short poem The Golden Horn, which marked the beginning of Nordic Romanticism. Romanticists who followed him included the Germans Schack von Staffeldt, Grundtvig, Ingemann, and Hauck.
