Stradivari, F. (English spelling) StradivariF

...a family of string instrument makers, mainly violin makers, active in Cremona, Italy, from the late 17th century to the 18th century. Antonio (1644?-1737) is said to be the greatest violin maker in history. After training under Amati, he created his own unique violin, slightly larger and louder than the Amati type, which became the model for violin making thereafter. Today, the family's authentic violins include about 600 violins, as well as a small number of excellent cellos and violas.
