He became the governor of Mikawa, the deputy chief priest of Shinto, chamberlain, and chief of the military guards. In 1206, he copied the "Nihon Shoki," and in 1225, he copied the "Kogo Shūi." His poems are included in "Shin Chronicles of Japanese Poetry," "Zoku Kokin Wakashu," and other collections. He was commonly known as the poet Reizei. His works include "Shinto Taii" and others.
