...The three species that live in temperate waters are all white with deep yellow heads and are called white gannets. Of these, the white gannet ( Sula bassana ) breeds in the temperate North Atlantic. The other two species are the Cape gannet (Sula capensis) off the coast of Africa and the Australian gannet (Sula serrator ) of Australia, Tasmania, and New Zealand.
