Ooba no Mino

Japanese:
Ooba no Mino
This manor was located on the south bank of the Yodo River in Moriguchi City, Osaka Prefecture, in an area commonly known as Obata in Manda County, Kawachi Province. It was the property of the Kamon no Ryo (Kammon no Ryo) and is also called Obata Manor. It was first seen in the Yujo-ki as the Kamon no Ryo Obata Manor, but its origins are thought to date back to the Ibara Ashihara area in the Ritsuryo Kai (Notes to the Koki by the Ritsuryo Kamon no Ryo), and the Engishiki (Kamon no Ryo) records that the land was to be paid in the form of 190 cho of land in the Makomo area, 200 suge ... During the Kamakura period, Obanosho was a gift-giving estate with named fields and rice paddies for which the government paid for the production of safflower and straw as public duties. However, the named fields gradually became private property, and during the Nanboku-cho period, the samurai's seizure of land intensified to the point that the government was unable to perform its public duties, and the control of the Sobe-ryo declined.
