Myron (English spelling)

Japanese: ミロン - みろん(英語表記)Myron
Myron (English spelling)
Ancient Greek wrestler in the late 6th century BCE. Date of birth and death unknown. Sometimes written as Milo in English. Tribune Milo is a different person. Born in Croton, southern Italy. Participated in the juvenile competition at the Olympian Games, and after coming of age, won six wrestling events between 540 and 516 BCE. He also won the Pythian Games six times, the Isthmian Games ten times, and the Nemean Games nine times, over a period of 30 years. He left behind stories of holding up a collapsing house, carrying a cow on his back and running through the stadium, eating its meat in one day, and finally dying when his hand got caught in the middle of an oak tree when he was splitting it in half, and was eaten by a wolf.
