Ohno-so

Japanese:
Ohno-so
A manor in Naka District, Awa Province (present-day Anan City, Tokushima Prefecture). It is located in the Ono district of the Wamyō Ruijushō. It first appeared in 1159 (Heiji 1) as one of the 12 manors listed in the estate inventory of the Goganji temple Hoshogon-in of Emperor Toba. The main family was Hoshogon-in, and the lord was Fujiwara Sueyuki. The head family's position was later to belong to the Hachijō-in estate, but in 1330 (Gentoku 2), Emperor Go-Daigo donated Hoshogon-in to Toji Temple, and this manor also came under the control of Toji Temple. Meanwhile, the lord's position was transferred from Fujiwara Sueyuki to the Kujo family. In the transfer document of Kujo Kanezane from 1204 (Genkyū 1), it is divided into the main manor and the new manor, but the main manor was transferred to his son Saneyuki when Kujo Michiie's estate was disposed of, and in 1271 (Bun'ei 8), it was donated to Fumon-ji Temple.

Oonosho [Oonosho]

A manor in Ono County, Bungo Province (present Ono Town and Asaji Town, Ono County, Oita Prefecture). It was established as a manor by Ono-go. It appears to have been donated to Sansho-ji Temple in Kyoto between 1186 and 1198 (Bun'ei 2-Kenkyu 9), and the "Comprehensive Catalog of Sansho-ji Temple Land Documents" (year unknown) includes the "Letter from the Inspection of Ono Manor in the 9th Year of Kenkyu," which shows that Sansho-ji Temple became the landlord before 1198. The "Koanzuden-cho" (1285) lists the area as 300 cho, with 73 cho of Shiga Village, 51 cho of Kamimura, 100 cho of Nakamura, and 76 cho of Shimomura. Around the time of the Kenkyu era, Nakahara Chikayoshi destroyed the local lord Ono clan and acquired the position of land steward. This position was transferred to his adopted son Otomo Yoshinao, and was later distributed to his wife Mimyo and then to his seven sons.
