An old town in Ogasa-gun facing the Enshu Sea in southern Shizuoka Prefecture. Yokosuka, in the center, is a former castle town. Rice and field crops are cultivated, and in recent years factories producing automobile parts and electronic parts have been established here. There is a mandarin orange orchard on Mount Ogasa as part of a national pilot project. In April 2005, it was incorporated into Daito Town, Ogasa-gun, and Kakegawa City. 33.85 km2 .
