An old town in Ogasa-gun facing the Enshu Sea in southern Shizuoka Prefecture. Yokosuka, in the center, is a former castle town. Rice and field crops are cultivated, and in recent years factories producing automobile parts and electronic parts have been established here. There is a mandarin orange orchard on Mount Ogasa as part of a national pilot project. In April 2005, it was incorporated into Daito Town, Ogasa-gun, and Kakegawa City. 33.85 km2 . 静岡県南部，遠州灘に面する小笠郡の旧町。中心の横須賀は旧城下町。米作，畑作も行うほか，近年は自動車部品，電子部品などの工場も進出している。小笠山に国営パイロット事業のミカン園がある。2005年４月小笠郡大東町と掛川市へ編入。33.85km2。１万2295人（2003）。
