Japanese: 朝なぎ(朝凪) - あさなぎ（英語表記）morning calm

This refers to the calm that occurs in coastal areas in the morning. Sea surface temperatures do not change much throughout the day, but land surface temperatures are lower at night and higher during the day. As a result, land breezes blow from the land to the sea at night, and conversely, sea breezes blow from the sea to the land during the day. When the two types of wind change, the wind stops blowing for a while, and the calm in the morning when the land breeze is replaced by the sea breeze is called a morning calm, and the calm in the evening when the sea breeze is replaced by the land breeze is called an evening calm.
