…Around 1575 (the 7th year of Bunmei), Shiba Yoshikazu, a general of the Western Army who had lost Echizen and Totomi to the Asakura and Imagawa clans, descended to Owari, and Oda Toshihiro became deputy shugo. However, in 1578, the shogunate appointed Shiba Yoshitoshi's son Yoshisuke as shugo and Oda Toshisada as his replacement, ordering them to defeat Yoshikazu, Toshihiro, and others. Toshisada entered Owari and based himself in Kiyosu, while Toshihiro's side received support from Saito Myojun of Mino to fight against them. …
