Giocosa

In 1822, he became professor of rhetoric at the University of Padua. The following year, he left his position and opened a school in Venice, but was invited by the Gonzaga family to open a boarding school called "Giocosa" in Mantua, where he remained until his death. This school was open not only to the children of monarchs and nobles but also to the children of commoners, and its aim was to achieve harmony between Christianity and classical education in the integration of intellectual, moral, and physical education, and it is famous for embodying Renaissance humanism in education.
