Feuillet, RA (English spelling) FeuilletRA

…Not to mention lyrics and musical scores, dance scores are often linked to the court. In European court dance, dance scores were used from the 1680s by Pierre Beauchamp(s) (1636-1705), a master of the court of Louis XIV, and Raoul-Auger Feuillet (c. 1675-1710) published them as Choreography or the Art of Describing Dance (1700). From [Choreography]

...A person who does this professionally is called a choreographer. In English, the word choreography originally referred to a method of notating dance, and originated in 1700 when the French Raoul-Auger Feuillet (c. 1660-1710) and Pierre Beauchamp (1636-1705) announced their own method of notation, which they called choréographie. Since then, various methods of notating dance have been devised and choreography has been recorded.
