Born January 21, 1823 by Alsoe Stregova
[Died] October 5, 1864. Alcós Trégová Hungarian poet and playwright. He was favored by Petófi, but was unable to participate in the national revolution due to poor health. However, he lost his family and acquaintances, and served a year in prison for harboring Kossuth's secretary. The liberal and progressive romanticism of the first half of the 19th century formed the basis of his worldview. His epic play Az ember tragédiája (The Tragedy of Man), published in 1861, is a work that explores the fate of humans from their birth, through history, to the communist society of the future, and its grand philosophical speculation has been compared to Goethe's Faust. He also wrote lyric poems and plays.

ハンガリーの詩人，劇作家。ペテーフィの知遇を得，民族革命には病弱なため参戦できなかったが，肉親，知人を失い，自身もコシュートの秘書をかくまった罪で1年間刑に服した。 19世紀前半の自由主義的，進歩的ロマン主義が，彼の世界観の基礎を形成している。 1861年に発表した叙事詩劇『人間の悲劇』 Az ember tragédiájaは，人間の誕生から，歴史を追って，未来の共産社会にいたるまでの人間の運命を追究した作品で，その壮大な哲学的思索はゲーテの『ファウスト』に比べられる。ほかに抒情詩，戯曲もある。
