…Ennius' nephews, Marcus Pacuvius (c. 220-130 BC) and Lucius Accius (c. 170-86 BC), are known primarily as tragedians. Roman tragedies are divided into two types: crepidata and praetexta. The former are based on Greek works and have Greek themes (crepidata means "wearing Greek sandals"), while the latter are based on Roman themes and feature famous Romans (praetexta means "wearing Roman (purple) fringed robes").
