Euphorion (English spelling)

…One of the three great Greek tragic poets. Born in Eleusis to the Athenian aristocratic family Euphorion. He came of age during the time of the expulsion of the tyrant Hippias (510 BC) and the democratic reforms of Cleisthenes (508 or 507 BC). He served in the battles of Marathon, Salamis, and other battles during the Persian Wars, and his experiences are reflected in his works.
