...A culture dating from around 3200 to 3100 BCE, characterized by the ruins of Jamdat Nasr in southern Mesopotamia, namely Babylonia. It was once written as Jemdet Nasr. Jamdat Nasr is 40 km northeast of Babylon, and in 1925-26 and 1928, S.
