Taya (Taya)

Japanese: 田屋(他屋) - たや
Taya (Taya)
The term "taya" refers to buildings that have a variety of meanings. They can be huts built for farmers to watch over their fields, huts built for them to live in while they are away from their fields in mountainous areas, or huts built for birth, huts for women to stay in during their menstrual period, or huts for mourning. They can also refer to buildings built separately from the main house. Furthermore, when a land is dispersed, the facilities that the lord built to manage these were also called "taya," and are also used as place names.
