Bergeranthus

…there are eight species in the genus Titanopsis , which lack toothed leaves but have warty projections on the leaf surface. The genus Bergeranthus is small, clump-growing, with narrow leaves, and is exceptionally cold-hardy among the mesembs. (4) Perennial, stemless, few leaves with high succulence. This group is called Tamagatamesen, and includes the genera Lithops and Conophytum , as well as Fenestraria (two species, the representative of which is F. aurantiaca NEBr.) (illustration), whose upper leaves are translucent and lenticular, Opthalmophyllum (18 species), Argyroderma (about 50 species), Pleiospilos (33 species), and Gibbaeum (about 20 species).
