An official architectural technique book compiled in 1731 (the 9th year of the Yongzheng era) by the Ministry of Works of the Qing Dynasty in China, and distributed in 1734. It consists of 74 volumes. It details the construction methods (techniques), costs (estimates of materials used), and labor costs (estimates of labor hours) for each of the following construction works: Ogi (mainly wooden structure), decoration (joint work), stone/tile/ticket construction (arches), and earthwork. For Ogi, proportional dimensions such as 1 to 11 are used, with the width of the dokoguchi (bracket) as the standard dimension. It is similar to the "Construction Methods," but the detailed techniques are noticeably simplified and standardized as much as possible.
