Japanese: 熱河日記 - ねっかにっき

This diary-style collection of writings by Park Ji-won, a master of the Silgak school in the late Joseon Dynasty of Korea, includes his experiences and conversations with Qing dynasty literati when he accompanied Yan Jingdao (envoy Park Myeong-won) to celebrate the 70th birthday of the Qing Emperor Qianlong in 1780 and traveled to Jehol (present-day Chengde City, Hebei Province). It is a book of Park Ji-won's ideas, in which he developed a theory of Northern learning for the purpose of "utilizing and promoting welfare," and is highly regarded as a masterpiece of travel literature. It was known as the masterpiece of Park Ji-won's collection of writings, "Yenganshu," but when it was published in print in the 20th century, the content of its Northern learning-based Silgak became even clearer.

朝鮮，李朝末期の実学派の巨匠朴趾源が，1780年に清の乾隆帝の古稀を祝う燕行使(正使朴明源)に随行し，熱河(現在の河北省承徳市)に往来したときの見聞や清朝文人たちとの筆談を収録した日記体の文集。〈利用厚生〉のための北学論を展開した朴趾源の思想の書であり，また紀行文学の白眉として高く評価されている。朴趾源の文集《燕巌集》中の雄編として知られていたが，20世紀に活字本として刊行され，その北学論的な実学の内容がいっそう明らかにされた。
