A processing method in which leather or fabric is pressed with a stamping die with a concave and convex pattern to create an embossed pattern. For synthetic fiber products, the fabric is embossed and heated, while for rayon and cotton, the fabric is resin-treated before embossing and heating, so that the pattern does not disappear even after washing. Recently, genuine leather and artificial leather with patterns that look just like real reptile leather have become very popular.
