[Coal Pick]
This machine crushes coal by pressing a pointed rod-shaped tool (pick bit) against the coal bed and striking it with a piston driven by compressed air. The main body is a cylinder with a striking piston and a valve device, and when the pick bit is pressed against the coal bed with a manual force of 30 to 40 kgf, the piston automatically reciprocates, delivering about 550 to 1,200 strikes per minute.
