Oksongni Historic Site - Oksongni Historic Site (English)

Japanese: 玉石里遺跡 - ぎょくせきりいせき（英語表記）Oksongni

Located in Okseok-ri, Wolrong-myeon, Paju-gun, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea, this is a representative site of the Plain Pottery (Bronze Age) period in the central region of the west coast. The site is located on a relatively high hill, ranging from an altitude of about 82m to over 100m at its highest point. Over 20 dolmens are known to exist, six of which were excavated in 1965. Dolmen are table-shaped, with supporting stones arranged in a box shape on the ground and covered with a megalith. Grave goods excavated include a clam blade, a flat single-edged stone axe, a stone knife, and a whetstone.

大韓民国京畿道坡州郡月籠面玉石里にあって，西海岸の中部地方における無文土器(青銅器)時代の代表的遺跡。遺跡は，標高約82mから100mを超える最高所まで，比較的高い丘陵上に立地する。二十数基の支石墓が知られ，このうち6基が，1965年に発掘調査された。支石墓は，テーブル形で，地上に支石を箱形に組み合わせ，その上を巨石で覆う。副葬品として，蛤刃（はまぐりば）･扁平片刃の石斧，石庖丁，砥石などを出土した。
