…An archipelago on the Pacific coast south of Chiloe Island in southern Chile, South America, with a rugged coastline, just like the Taitao Peninsula to the south. Benjamin Island and Guaytecas Island are relatively large, but most of the islands are small, with over 1,000 in number.
