...The third form of visiting deities is not one in which they wear masks, but rather in the form of children who visit. Examples of this are the Kasedori and Surumetsuri in the Tohoku region, the Hotohoto and Kotokoto in the Chugoku region, and the Kasedauchi in Kagoshima. In this form, children form groups and visit each house in the village, leaving large and small coins and straw horses in each house, and often receive rice cakes, sweets, money, etc. from each house....
