Born on February 22, 1791. Son of Ito Sukeatsu. At the age of 7 in 1791, he became the 11th head of the Ito clan, lord of Obi Domain in Hyuga (Miyazaki Prefecture). In 1812, he opened an academic institute. Like his father, he made Nonaka Kanaemon a valued planter and helped spread the name of Obi cedar. He died on June 29, 1816. He was 21 years old.
