He was one of the brave warriors who entered the enemy city by hiding inside the womb of a wooden horse. When Troy fell, he defeated the enemy king Priam, threw the enemy general Hector's infant Astyanax over the city wall, and received Andromache, the mother of the enemy, as a reward.
