Subpolar Gyre, Subarctic Gyre

Japanese: 亜寒帯循環 - あかんたいじゅんかん（英語表記）Subpolar Gyre、Subarctic Gyre

It is a counterclockwise circulation in the subpolar zone of the Northern Hemisphere, and in the Pacific Ocean it is formed by the Subpolar Current, Alaska Current, Aleutian Current, East Kamchatka Current, and Oyashio Current. In the North Atlantic Ocean, the Subpolar Circumference is not very clear because the North Atlantic Current flows north to the Arctic Ocean. In the Southern Hemisphere, since there is no land to block it on the east or west, there is instead the Antarctic Circumpolar Current in the subpolar zone that circles the Antarctic continent. 北半球亜寒帯域にある反時計周りの循環で、太平洋では亜寒帯海流・アラスカ海流・アリューシャン海流・東カムチャッカ海流・親潮で形づくられる。北大西洋では、北大西洋海流が北極海まで北上するために、亜寒帯循環はあまり明確でない。南半球では東西を陸で遮られないので代わりに、亜寒帯域に南極大陸を巡る南極環流がある。　（永田）
