Born on December 12, 1885. Became a Salvation Army officer candidate in 1906. Studied at the International Military Academy and the General Staff College in England. Served as the Military Academy Superintendent, Field Chief, Secretary General, and other positions, before becoming the Commander of the Salvation Army of Japan in 1938. Reappointed Commander in 1946, he became a Lieutenant General. He devoted himself to the reconstruction of the Salvation Army. Died on January 14, 1969. Age 83. Born in Nara Prefecture.
