〘Noun〙 (also "Egouro") One of the Buddhist implements. An incense burner with a handle. The priest holds it during a Buddhist memorial service. ※Daijo-in Temple and Shrine Miscellany - May 25, 1477 (9th year of Bunmei) "The priest has a high nose. He takes the handle and the incense burner from the west side door. He holds it and bows three times."
