Cheiro

...It is said that palmistry was founded by the people who migrated from the upper to middle reaches of the Indus River around 3000 B.C. and built the ancient urban cultures of Mohenjo Daro and Harappa. According to palmist Cheiro (real name Louis Hamon, 1866-1936, known in Japan as Kilo), a British aristocrat, the Joshi class of people who had lived in this region since ancient times inherited palmistry (The Language of Palmistry).
