Japanese: 脇付 - わきづけ

〘 noun 〙 A word used to show respect in letters by writing it to the left of the addressee's name. Examples include shikashi (attendant), tekishita (desk), onchu (official address), sanninjin onchu (official address), and jinjin onchu (official address). In replies, it is written as honourable reply or kishou (thank you). Also, a word used to show that the letter is something special, such as "urgent business".
